Our family recently enjoyed a week at Bukit Keluang Beach Resort. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist. The resort’s location is superb; a short walk from the beach and numerous restaurants. Rooms were spacious and tranquil.
While the breakfast was considered underwhelming by some, the resort’s other amenities compensated.

Our family recently enjoyed a wonderful stay at the Fairfield by Marriott Kuala Besut during our Malaysian vacation. Its convenient location near the Kuala Besut jetty made exploring the stunning Perhentian Islands incredibly easy. The hotel is relatively new, offering clean and spacious rooms perfect for families. We especially appreciated the three super single beds, comfortably accommodating our family of four.
The breakfast buffet was a highlight – a diverse and delicious spread featuring Western, Asian, Halal, and vegetarian options. We highly recommend booking with breakfast included, as dining options nearby are limited. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. While the hotel is in a quieter area, its proximity to the jetty more than compensated for this.

Although slightly removed from the town’s hustle and bustle, requiring a short drive to local restaurants, the on-site vending machines and high-quality breakfast buffet more than made up for this minor inconvenience. The Barat Perhentian Beach Resort provided an exceptional stay. The staff’s dedication to customer service was immediately apparent, with their helpfulness ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process, even accommodating early arrivals. The resort’s location is incredibly convenient, being very close to both the jetty and the beach, making island exploration easy.
Rooms were spacious, clean, and well-appointed, exceeding expectations. The air conditioning was a welcome relief in the warm weather, and thoughtful amenities such as a kettle and hairdryer further enhanced comfort.
The on-site restaurant offered delicious and reasonably priced meals. The resort’s proximity to excellent snorkeling locations, including opportunities to spot turtles and baby sharks, made it a perfect base for underwater adventures. The overall cleanliness and efficient service were truly impressive.
